Hello and welcome to Steph Will Keep You in Stitches!
Like circular knitting, I consider myself a Midwesterner, (from Naperville, IL) but spent many happy early years in New York and Connecticut. I circled back to the east coast (or Mid-Atlantic) for graduate school and now call Washington, D.C. home. No, I’m not a local politician, but I strongly believe in non-profit and governmental service and I guess this is the epicenter for my career.
For a city to be so transit, I’m fortunate to have met the man that challenges me with fits of giggles daily. We’re newlyweds living in a small condo with his tech gadgets and my budding knitting habit taking over.Ā As with many introverts, I actually like making people laugh and I hope this blog will keep my beginning years of knitting lighthearted and enjoyable.
Finally, I welcome your feedback from those that are experienced or inexperienced with your knitting….or perhaps inspire someone to pick up needles themselves. Travis, encouraged me to start this blog so I hope you find beginner inspiration, share your thoughts and, I hope you enjoy your time with me!
